Multirobot System to Explore Unknown Environment with Connection Maintenance

This paper addresses the problem of exploring an unknown environment using multiple robots and maintaining communication among team robots. The existing exploration methods assume that is maintained throughout process. However, this not possible when area to be explored very large there limited range. presented provide maintenance maintain coordination. Three different approaches are for exploration. They centralized approach, leader-follower ad hoc approach. concept approach developed where base station connected all in team. developed, robots, a leader will selected. which even though within range one another, occur through network. performance evaluation done above three based on path length, time, total number cycles required explore complete area. Systematic used examine effect influence parameters like robot, sensor robot metrics. It investigated increase parameters, then time reduced.
